在 Foundation Academy Drama 程序, we aim to provide a safe, Christian environment for the students to use their talents to glorify God. In a world full of darkness, God calls us to use the gifts he’s given us to be a light. “同样的道理, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds 和 glorify our 父亲 in heaven.”(马特. 5:16)

Lower School (K-6)

的 elementary drama program at Foundation Academy is open to any 2-6 grade student that loves to sing, 跳舞, 行为, 和移动. Auditions are in the fall 和 spring 和 there are usually between 50-60 students involved in each production. Elementary drama performs a Christmas musical in December 和 a spring musical in April. 的re is a strong focus on choral singing as well as 行为ing. This is an after school 行为ivity that pr行为ices 2-3 times a week.

Upper School (7-12)

戏剧班的学习。 are offered for Middle 和高中 as electives. Two major productions are done each year. 的 productions can range from musicals to studio theater productions. Students can join the 的spian International Society 和 compete with other drama programs in the area.

Some of the past productions include 的 Diary of Anne Frank, Disney’s 的 Little Mermaid, You Can’t Take It with You, Disney’s 高中 Musical Jr, 的 玻璃动物园, 笼子里, Godspell, 的 Importance of Being Ernest, 的 Two Sides of Darkness, 绿野仙踪 和 Seussical the Musical. A summer program is offered for aspiring thespians to sharpen their 行为ing skills.

On both the Tilden 和 Plant Street campus, Foundation’s drama program encourages students to channel their creativity into performance through a variety of opportunities.
